Simple to Enter

The Digital Signage Awards really are simple to enter. A working URL submitted with a brief descriptive paper is all that is required. If your entry is for a special-build, one-off, or seasonal project or campaign (e.g. Christmas) you must supply the URL for any archived material for the judges to view, in your written submission. All entry forms are completed online and a submission paper can be prepared offline, on the desktop, before it is uploaded to the Digital Signage Awards' website. Photographs and video material may be made available for the judges to view. You will need to include in your submission a link to the page where the judges can go to look at any visual material. Do not upload large video files or photo files with your entry form as they will be rejected. Thumbnail images of illustrative material can be embedded in your written submission, if they help the judges understand your entry. You will find more useful information on the Advice on Entries page of this website.

Eligibility of entries: A company will be allowed to enter the 2013 awards if the activity described took place between April 1, 2011 and September 30, 2012. Reference may be made to prior projects or campaigns, if it helps the judges to view the activity in context, but entries will not be judged on past glories.

The closing date for entries is September 30, but remember, entries must have been supplied, installed or broadcast before midnight on September 30. Test projects will not be accepted for the Digital Signage Awards.

Entry fees

To enter the Digital Signage Awards you will need to pay the entry fee for each entry you make. at the rate of GBP £180.00 (US$285.00 equivalent) per entry. You will pay for your entries online at the time of entry, so make sure you have an internationally recognised credit or debt card ready when you enter. Please see the notes below about Solo and American Express cards with Google Checkout.

What does the entry fee cover?

The fee of GBP £180.00 includes UK VAT at the current applicable rate (20%).  The entry fee is an administration charge covering the personnel costs involved in checking entries and their bona fides, collating all entries and bookmarking them for the judges’ ease of access, convening the judging panels, supervising the judging events, including providing the venue and covering all catering costs for any plenary session, compiling the judges’ short-lists, and publicising the short-list on the Digital Signage Awards’ website, through PR broadcasts and on the online or offline pages of media partners’ publications. Businesses may enter as many categories as they have divisions, brands, products, activities or campaigns, though each entry will incur a fee.

Payments via Google Checkout

Google Checkout is the chosen, flexible, payment method. When you complete your entry you will be taken to the payment page, where you will be able to pay for your entries using any internationally recognised credit or debit card. Please note: use of Solo cards has ceased, and American Express cards can only be used on Google Checkout for transactions inside the USA, so they cannot be used to pay for entries to the international Digital Signage Awards.
